my favorite planners

I've written a ton of planner posts and a good planner can seriously help de-stress your life. Since the end of the year is almost here, I've started looking at ordering my 2020 planner and figured I'd post an update about my favorite ones!

In addition to writing down normal things like appointments, call schedules, and meetings, I use my planner for daily to-dos , monthly ideas, reading lists, study schedules, fitness tracking, financial goals, shopping lists, daily menu plans, vacation planning, and decoration ideas. Not all planners are equal and so a good planner will allow you room to do all of this.

My favorite planner has always been this planner (pictured below) . I have also tried this planner which I love as well!

The daydesigner planner allows you to plan out each day with top three goals, hourly plans, daily gratitude and a daily to do list. There's room for meal plans on each page and weekly goals. The back has empty pages for other plans you have. There's a miniature version and a larger version, I've used and loved both (but prefer the larger).

If you wondering how this one stacks up to it's major competitor, well, I think the Daydesigner is chic-er than Erin Condren and I just like the overall layout better. In medical school I loved this planner to divide out my studying equally (how I used it in medical school here) . In residency, it's been even more useful with studying and balancing work and home responsibilities.
