I've been wearing sunglasses every time I step outside in the summer heat. I love the large frames of this pair for some good UV protection, and so I don't have to squint while I'm driving.
I had the opportunity to work with a young doctor from Korea during one of my weeks rotating with the infectious disease team. I loved talking to him about medical care in his country, and he introduced me to a huge craze in his country called Kakao Friends. He gifted me these sweet gifts of Ryan the Bear (actually he's a lion with no mane), and this handheld mirror of a girl cat named Neo. Naturally, I was so excited to share my new knowledge of the hip Korean trends over snapchat with Jake's old roommate who is currently in Korea!
Kimmy Schmidt has a new season on Netflix and this is the best Friday night TV show. Jake and I finished it, and my favorite part was easily Titus's Lemonade rendition! If you are needing a good laugh, I highly recommend!
I would be lying if I said that my Ebay Donkey Kong Country find was not a favorite of mine in May! Jake and I have been having a blast trying to beat these pixelated levels on our big screen. It takes me back to playing at my cousin's house as a child. So much fun, and a great mindless de-stressor.
RENT the musical is the only musical Jake actually knows all the words too. We have been loving this musical since we were 15! We bought our tickets a year in advance and patiently waited for this performance. It was fantastic!
