This time of the year (pre-Oscars) Jake and I always make an effort to watch as many as the nominated movies as we can. It makes the Oscars so much more fun to watch and the movies always spark good discussion.

We eventually will see most all of the nominees even though I haven't listed them all, this is just our ambitious list for the next few weeks. Usually we rent them OnDemand or Redbox (most are available for $5 - $16 now through streaming sites) but some we've headed to the theater for. The ones we've seen so far have been amazing! I highly recommend you make an effort to watch these. We watched The Florida Project last night and it really got snubbed by the Academy this year. The child actors were phenomenal - go watch the trailer!
Here's our watchlist with the goal to have them all done by March 4th :
