Summer is the perfect time for breezy dresses. I wear this red one every chance I can. To the beach, out to eat, evening get togethers, etc. The details won me over and the bright red makes it pop. I have a similar black dress (search Free People Angel Lace Dress online) and I wore it so much I wanted to add a second option to my go to collection. As far as length goes, the dress is cleverly designed to be short but when you lift up your arms your bum is still covered.
These photos were taken last month (as will be some of the photos in the coming month.) I intended to wear this for the Fourth of July but I've been living in the ICU this month (I'm a "resident," get it) and I haven't been wearing anything other than scrubs.
Towards the end of summer these flowy dresses go on sale, and I highly recommend adding one to your closet for next season. End of season sales are my favorite way to add pieces to my wardrobe.
