primavera tortellini

This is one of my all time favorite tortellini recipes. It's my go to for a romantic carb loaded night at home. You will feel like you are in a restaurant eating this delicious dish!

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup onion

3 cloves garlic minced

2 tablespoons of butter

1 - 2 cups of spinach

1 (8oz) package of cream cheese, softened

1 tomato diced

1/4 cup milk or cream

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Cheese filled tortellini cooked and drained (at least 8 oz)

Prosciutto

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In large skillet melt butter and saute the prosciutto, onion and garlic stirring.

2. Add spinach, cream cheese, tomato, milk, cheese, seasoning, salt and pepper

3. Mix well and cook until begins to boil

4. Stir in tortellini and cook until all is warmed
