I just posted about one trend I'm loving this summer (here), and I found another that I've adopted into my everyday outfits: layering necklaces.
I never wore necklaces before last January, I started with this one as my everyday one and then I started digging through my jewelry box for more.
Layering necklaces is easy enough to adopt and I think it looks great with any shirts. My favorite way to wear it is with T-shirts. Don't be afraid with V necks either, dropping a longer necklace underneath a V neck shirt so all you can see is the chain is beautiful too!
All you need is at least two necklaces with different chain lengths and you can't really go wrong. Mixing metals is even appropriate (look at the major designers lately). Drop a simple "layering necklaces" search into the google images bar and you'll find plenty of inspiration.
You probably have all you need already in your jewelry box, my collection looks something like this:
16" Initial Necklace: splurge, save on Etsy versions
18" Wishbone Necklace (mine's old, etsy version here)
24" One inch Disc Necklace Options: splurge, initial disc, Etsy version (I have this one)
With the removable pendants don't forget you can even change out the chains to fit your needs!
