TO DO

Be a tourist in your own city.

In this post I listed my favorite things to do in my city, and it was so fun to appreciate the great things around you. Whether you are in a small town or a large city - go be a tourist! Eat at the hot spots and visit the exhibits in town, or visit the nearby lake and camp or fish. It's a great way to be grateful for your neighborhood.

TO SEE

Riverdale

I only started watching this show because I've been obsessed with Kelly and Ryan in the morning and I wanted to watch Mark Consuelos (season 2). After ten minutes into the first episode I knew I'd be hooked so I paused it and binge watched the rest with Jake. The cliff hangers are so good and we've been hooked on this show. The show is about a small town with stereotypical small town things and a group of friends who get into trouble. The parents are all involved since they all grew up in the small town and there's plenty of drama, humor, mystery, and murder. You can watch the first two seasons on Netflix, and season 3 will air on the CW.

TO TRY

Amazon's Stainless Steel Travel Mug

These tumblers are a great dupe for the Yeti mugs. I wanted a new yeti mug for work as a resident, but I know that I am not that responsible when it comes to my cups so I didn't think I deserved an expensive one. I found this product after a recommendation from another blogger and they are great so I had to share! For $10 you can get a 30 oz in a variety of colors and they keep your ice cold all day.

TO READ

This book is action-packed the entire time. From chapter one I was horrified and unsure if I wanted to keep reading but I'm glad I did until the end. Something horrible goes on with a family, and you see how it shapes their lives later down the road. I found it intriguing that you also gain a view of what it's like to legally defend the guilty and the book forces you to think about criminals as people too.

TO MAKE

Photo Albums.

My favorite photo album site is blurb.com and I think they make some of the best books that retain the high quality images from my camera. (I know some people are die hard snapfish/shutterfly fans - I have compared the two with high quality images and it's a night and day difference) . Blurb often has sales so you can make your book online and then wait for the e-mail of the sale! I haven't made any albums from our vacations the last two years, and so I've worked to make those into books these last two weeks. Every couple of years I'll also make a small square book of my instagram photos just so I have them for my bookshelf.

TO TASTE

Rosé

This is so cliché for summer, but yes Rosé. There are so many on the market right now at different price points too. Depending on your taste preferences some are sweeter and some are even bubbly. We've gone through numerous bottles the past three months and my favorites have been Summer Water, Dark Horse, Ava Grace (also comes in a can), and the Chandon Sparkling Rosé. Go ahead, pick up a couple bottles and decide what your favorites are. I'd love to hear!
